Updating Your Drivers

If you allow your drivers to become out-of-date you may run into a variety of problems in Dead by Daylight, as well with day-to-day computer usage. 

Refer to the steps below on ways to update your drivers.

Video Drivers:

1. Press Windows + R.
2. In the "Run" command box type DxDiag and click "OK".
3. Click the "Display" tab.
4. Navigate to the "Device" section to find the video card's name and manufacturer.
5. Navigate to the "Driver" section to find the current video driver version.
6. If your driver version isn't the most recent, visit the driver manufacturer's website to update.

Audio Drivers: 

1. Press Windows + R.
2. In the "Run" command box type DxDiag and click "OK".
3. Click the "Sound" tab.
4. Navigate to the "Driver" section to find the current audio driver version.
5. If your driver version isn't the most recent, visit the driver manufacturer's website to update.
